Downton Abby Wedding Dress

Okay, there are very few television shows that I watch, but my number one is Downton Abby on PBS.  This weekend 7.9 million people watched Lady Mary marry Matthew Crawley!  I was one of those million and Lady Mary's wedding dress just took my breathe away!


The costume designer was Carole McCall who designed a lacy long sleeved gown festooned with with dainty Swarovski crystals.  She crowned the bride with a vintage veil and diamond tiara from U.K. jeweler Bentley & Skinner, which rang in at a whooping $200,000.  The bride was simply just beautiful! This is why I believe public TV should be supported!

My other favorite TV shows are Scandal and Sweet Genius.  Chat later.

  1. Gina, I just heard about this program Downton Abby this week on the news and how popular it has become. I love shows like this one! I have seen Scandal a few times and really liked it. My shows are Bunheads, Pretty Little Liars, Law/Order and NCIS. I watch some LMN , Lifetime and Hallmark when I have some free time between Neisha job searching and Omar's Boy Scout.
