My New Pressing Iron

Working on my Couture Dress, I find that I need a better steam iron.  One that provides enough heat and steam to shrink and shape fabrics.  So, I finally walked into Bed, Bath and Beyond and brought a Rowenta DW2070!

Look at the 300-hole soleplate designed for perfect steam diffusion!  I also like the precision tip.  The only detail on this iron I do not like is the 8 minute auto-shut off. However, I could not find an iron that did not have an auto-shut off feature.

Pressing as I sew is as important as accurate stitching.  Using the right pressing equipment is essential to shaping a garment to fit body contours smoothly.  I have made a new sewing friend! (LOL)

  2. That's sweet! I like that, if only it was non-stick.
