I needed a crochet project using scrap pieces of yarn. Making a scarf of crocheted flowers quickly came to mind. This was a fun, easy project that moves along quickly because the flowers are joined together as they are made!
Pattern – Garden Scarf by Michelle Ameron, found in Stitch ‘n Bitch Crochet: The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stroller.
Yarn – Washable Ewe: Stitch Nation by Debbie Stroller, Red Heart (100% Superwash Wool; 3.5 oz./183 yds.; 1 ball Zinnia, 1 ball Clover, 1 ball Cottontail.
Hooks – I/9 (5.5mm)
Finished Size - 4” wide x 51" long.
While this is a scarf; I intend to use it as a piece of jewelry – perfect for complimenting solid-colored T-shirts and sweaters!
